A five-run third inning, a two-run home run by Casey Schroeder and a complete game by pitcher Nathan Fay lifted UW-Platteville to an 8-1 victory over UW-Stout Friday in the first game of a doubleheader at Kendall Murray Field. The Blue Devils took the nightcap 7-3.

Myers, Florida, where they’ve played three games so far over the course of the weekend, defeating Lasell College (Massachusetts) 13-5 on Friday, falling to Augustana College (Illinois) 7-5 on Saturday and closing the weekend with a win over St. Lawrence University (New York) 6-5 on Sunday.
