Bio
Will Montreal is in his third year as the Assistant Sports Information Director at UW-Platteville. The Port Washington native was hired in July of 2022.
Prior to coming to UW-Platteville, Montreal spent one year as an Athletic Communications Assistant at UW-Milwaukee, where he was the primary contact for men's and women's cross country, men's and women's swimming and diving, and men's and women's track and field. Montreal also assisted on gamedays for several other sports at UW-Milwaukee, including volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, and baseball.
Montreal received a Master of Education in Leadership and Innovation from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2021 and served as the Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant for two years with the Warriors. During his time there, Montreal helped with the gameday operations for all 19 of the college's athletic programs while also taking over primary statistical inputting responsibilities for men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, and volleyball.
In 2019, Montreal graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Entertainment Business with a minor in Sport Media. While in undergrad, Montreal worked as a Student Assistant in the Sports Information Department and completed several internships in the summers with the Lakeshore Chinooks baseball team. Montreal spent one year working with the Milwaukee Bucks sales department and volunteered at several events, including Super Bowl LII in Minnesota and the JJ Watt Charity Softball game in Houston.
