Bio
Lindsay Dietmeier started her career with the UW-Platteville Athletic Department in 2013 and curently serves as Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing, Branding and Communications.
In her role, Dietmeier is responsible for all aspects of the athletic department’s communications, media relations, statistics, records, publications, marketing and branding. She ensures all relevant information for the 16 sports are reported to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and other governing organizations and serves as the Sports Information Director (SID) for the university.
Dietmeier oversees numerous aspects of all home events, handles all media requests and hosts media members at home sporting events. She has served as the host SID for five NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament host sites, including Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight games and one NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament site.
As a content creator, Dietmeier is responsible for the athletic department social media platforms and has oversite on all team social media accounts. She is responsible for creating branded content for all visual media platforms and works directly with photographers and videographers to create content to increase the Pioneers’ presence in digital media.
She also manages the department’s website, press releases, in-event videoboard content, and livestreaming of over 80 home events annually with a team of one full-time assistant.
For her first three years on staff, Dietmeier worked in external relations and fundraising for the department following a two-year stint as a marketing intern while enrolled at UW-Platteville from 2011-13.
