Pioneers name athletes of the week, Arneson earns WIAC honors

Wrestling Athlete of the Week – Scottie Arneson, So. (Merrill, WI) 133 lbs. – Arneson played a crucial role in the Pioneers’ two WIAC dual meet victories over UW-Stevens Point and No. 12-ranked UW-Whitewater during the week.  The sophomore earned a key bonus point for the Pioneers with a 17-4 major decision over the Pointers' Michael Bannach on Dec. 8. Arneson followed that performance up with a 5-4 decision over UWhitewater's Joe Brodman, who entered the bout ranked fifth in the nation.
