Pioneers name athletes of the week

Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week – Robert Duax, So. (Dubuque, IA/Hempstead) Guard – Duax averaged 16.5 points and 4 rebounds 5 assist and 2.5 steals in two games last week while the Pioneers went 1-1 on the week.  He had a game high 29 points and six assists in 31 minutes of action in the Pioneers’ 78-70 win over Lake Forest College on Nov. 26.

Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week – Allison Prestegaard, So. (Amboy, IL/Ashton-Franklin Center) Center – Prestegaard led the Pioneers last week average 12 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game, and 11 blocks for the week.  The sophomore scored 22 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and added five block in the Pioneers’ 99-90 loss to Luther College on Nov. 22.
