Sebastian Carranza -- Freshman --St. Charles, Ill. / St. Charles East HS -- Forward Carranza scored two goals in two games this past week. Carranza's performance this week helped secure the seventh and eigth wins of the season. In the Pioneers' game against Loras College, Carranza got his first goal from a penalty kick by keeping his cool and burying his shot into the corner to put his team up 1-0. Carranza would score again off a header in the second half from a lofted cross. The ball bounced off the back post and went in to help secure a 3-1 win for the Pioneers. Thanks to Carranza's performances, the Pioneers are now 8-2-1 and remain unbeaten in their last nine games. --Named C2C Offensive Player of the Week |

Lydia Smith -- Sophomore -- Troy, Ill. / Triad HS -- Forward
Smith helped lead the Pioneers to 4-3 victory over UW-Stout. Smith had a hand in all four goals. Smith assisted on the first three Pioneer goals, before scoring the winning goal in the 56th minute. The Pioneers went 2-0 on the week after a 1-0 victory over the University of Dubuque on Sept. 27.
