Bell won the men's race of the Pioneer Gender Equity cross country invitational this past Saturday, stages at Cole Acres Golf Course in Cuba City, WI.  The Pioneer ran a time of 26:25.5 for the 8 kilometer course, besting 88 other runners from 7 colleges with his teammate Troy Humpal coming in second 4.5 seconds later.   Bell and Humpal lead their team to the men's team title as well.

Gartner averaged 5.77 digs per set (75 total) in a 3-1 week for the Pioneers. Gartner had 31 digs in a loss to UW-Oshkosh on Sept. 21. On Sept. 23, Gartner had 10 digs in a win over Carleton College (Minn.). She finished the week with 16 digs in a win over Nebraska Wesleyan University and 18 digs in a win over Milwaukee School of Engineering on Sept. 24.
