Emma Carlson -- Sophomore --Dixon, Ill. /Dixon HS -- Outsidehitter Carlson totaled 53 kills (4.08/set) with a .237 hitting percentage to lead the Pioneers to a 4-0 start in 2022. On Sep. 2, Carlson had 15 kills (.216 hitting percentage), two service aces and 14 digs in a win over Nebraska Wesleyan University. Carlson had 12 kills and hit .143 in a sweep of host Macalester College. On Sep. 3 in a win over Hamline University, Carlson hit .435 with 11 kills and two service aces. Carlson finished the week with 15 kills (.243 hitting percentage), two service aces and 10 digs in a win over Carleton College. |

Sam led the Pioneers with 11 tackles, 6 solos, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1 quarterback sack against NCAA Division II Michigan Tech. The Pioneer defense held the Huskies to only 213 total yards and had 9 tackles for loss in the game.
