Abby helped lead the team to a 5-4 victory over Concordia-Wisconsin in game 1 on Saturday. Burns was 4-7 (.571) at the plate with a home run and two doubles. She scored 3 runs for the Pioneers and had 2RBI's on the day. Burns finished the weekend with a .625 OBP and a 1.286 Slugging percentage.

Ashton Hoeppner recorded the Pioneers' first win of the season against a great hitting team, Concordia (Wis.). She had 4 strikeouts on the day, 10 hits, and finished the day with a 4.00 ERA.
