Pioneers name athletes of the week

	Women's Basketball - Morgan Horstman, Junior (Bangor, Wis./Bangor) - Guard Horstman averaged 16 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the three UW-Platteville games during the week. She finished with 16 points, shooting the ball 7-of-14 (50 percent) from the floor, 2-of-5 (40 percent) pulling down 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals in 81-66 win against UW- Eau Claire on Feb. 4. On Feb. 6, Horstman added 10 points shooting 4-of-9 (44.4 percent) with 4 rebounds in the loss against UW-Oshkosh. Horstman had a double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds in the overtime loss against UW-River Falls. She shot the ball 8-of-19 (42.1 percent) including 6-of-6 from the free throw line, 1 assists and 2 steals.
	Men's Basketball - Robert Duax, Senior (Dubuque, Iowa/Hempstead) - Forward Duax averaged 30 points 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists in the Pioneers' 1-1 week. In their 83-81 overtime loss to UW-Oshkosh on Feb. 6, Duax scored 35 points on 44.4 percent shooting from the field and 3-point range (12-of-27 and 4-of-9, respectively). Duax added six rebounds, four assists and three steals. On Feb. 9, Duax led the Pioneers to a 57-54 win over UW-River Falls with 25 points on 42.9 percent (8-of-19) shooting from the field and 50 percent (5-of-10) from 3-point range. He added three rebounds and three assists.
	Women's Track - Johanna Meister, Junior (Darlington, Wis./Darlington) - 800 meters Meister won the 800 meters at the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday. Her time of 2:18.62 was a personal record and now sits #2 on the WIAC Honor Roll.
	Men's Track - Alec Burcham, Senior (Mount Horeb, Wis./Mount Horeb) - 400 meters Burcham won the 400 meters at the UW-Platteville Invitational. His personal record time of 49.42 moved him the #2 in the WIAC and #8 on the National List.
