Women's Basketball - Morgan Horstman, Junior (Bangor, Wis.) - Guard Horstman led the Pioneers to a 1-1 split. She scored 9 points, pulled down 7 rebounds, and 3 steals in the loss over UW-River Falls on Jan. 9. In the 68-64 win over UW-Stout on Jan. 12, she scored 13 of her 22 points in the fourth quarter after being down 46-51 entering the fourth to propel to the victory. She shot 6-of-13 (46 percent) with 22 points, 10-of-12 from the free throw line (83.3 percent), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. |

Men's Basketball - Carter Voelker, Junior (Kiel, Wis.) - Guard Voelker averaged 21.5 points and 9 rebounds per game in leading his team to a 2-0 WIAC record. On Jan. 9, Voelker had a 17-point and 12-rebound double double in the 74-64 win over UW-River Falls. On Jan. 12, Voelker had 26 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in the Pioneers 75-72 win over UW-Stout. Voelker hit the game-tying 3-pointer with 12 seconds remaining and had the game-winning assist seconds later. |

Wrestling - Lucius Rinehart, Sophomore (Evansville, Wis.) Heavyweight Rinehart moved his season record to 18-3 overall this week with a 16-0 technical fall over Ian Ruble in the dual meet vs Wisconsin-Whitewater. He then went 4-1 to finish in second place at the Cliff Keen Mike Duroe Invitational including two wins by fall. |
