Pioneers name athletes of the week

Women's Basketball - Maiah Domask, Sophomore (Waupun, Wis.) - Guard/Forward

The Pioneers dropped two games, UW-Oshkosh (45-63) and UW-La Crosse (52-57). Domask led all scorers with 18 points while shooting 8-of-18 (44.4 percent), 2-of-3 (66.7 percent) from beyond the arc and pulled down 8 rebounds. Against UW-La Crosse, Domask recorded her seventh double-double. She had 12 points shooting 6-of-15 (40 percent) and 13 rebounds (7 offensive), and 1 steal. 

Men's Basketball - Quentin Shields, Sophomore (Chicago, Ill.) - Guard

Shields was his team's leading scorer in both of their games this week. In a 96-70 loss to UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 6, Shields was a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line to finished with 14 points and three assists. On Jan. 5 the Pioneers lost 80-76 to UW-La Crosse and Shields finished with 28 points on 66.7 percent (10-of-15) from the field, 66.7 percent (2-of-3) from 3-point range and 85.7 (6-of-7) from the free throw line. Shields also added four rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Wrestling - Grant Wedepohl, Senior (Reedsville, Wis.), 184lbs

Wedepohl went 3-0 at the Jim Fox Duals hosted by the University of Dubuque including 2 pins and a 10-1 major decision vs Concordia-MN.
