Women's Soccer - Offense - Caelyn Steffens, Freshman (Normal, Illinois) - Forward Steffens led the attack for UW-Platteville's victory this week against Beloit College on Sept. 8. She recorded not only her first career goal, but a hat trick to lead the Pioneers to a 5-3 victory. The first goal come just 24 seconds into the first Caelynhalf and the other two goals only 10 minutes apart in the second half. Steffens had 7 out of the Pioneers 15 shots in the game and totals 6 points on the season. |

Volleyball - Offense - CJ Johnson, Freshman (St. Charles, Illinois) - Setter/Right-side hitter Johnson averaged 2.44 kills, 4.44 assists and 2 digs per set to lead the UW-Platteville volleyball team to a 3-2 week. On Friday, Johnson had 8 kills while hitting .316 and 20 assists in the loss to Benedictine and 9 kills while hitting .533 in a win over Alverno. On Saturday, Johnson tallied 15 kills and 20 assist in the Pioneers win over Caltech and 11 kills, 16 assists and 15 digs in the victory over MSOE. In their four weekend matches, Johnson averaged 3.07 kills with a .316 hitting percentage and 4.5 assists per set. |

Men's Soccer - Offense - Nick Hoklas, Senior (Crytstal Lake, Illinois) - Midfield Hoklas was an offensive threat all weekend against Hamline and Concordia (WI). Hoklas scored one goal and added an assist in UW-Platteville's 4-3 victory over Concordia Wisconsin on Sunday. |

Men's Soccer - Defense - Nate Miller, Junior (Racine, Wisconsin) - Goalkeeper Miller came up big for the Pioneers on Saturday in their 1-0 victory over Hamline. Miller had four saves in the game but two breakaway saves proved to be what the team needed to preserve the shutout. |
