Vanek broke the UW-Platteville school record in the 400m this past weekend at the UW-La Crosse Last Qualifier Meet and secured his spot into the upcoming NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the process. His time of 48.54 in the 400m shattered the previous school recofrd by .47 seconds, and his time was also a .68 second personal best.
