Pioneers Split Road Doubleheader With Blugolds
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team (13-20, 8-12 WIAC) split a road doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon with UW-Eau Claire (11-25, 3-17 WIAC) from Carson Park in Eau Claire. The Pioneers took game one by a score of 16-6 before falling 6-4 in game two.

WAVERLY, Iowa – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team (12-19) fell behind early but rallied with nine unanswered runs to beat Wartburg (20-15) by a score of 10-5 on Tuesday evening from Harms Stadium Hertel in Waverly, Iowa.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team (22-12, 2-8 WIAC) dropped two games to UW-Eau Claire (16-14, 5-5 WIAC) on Monday by scores of 7-3 and 5-4. Between games, the Pioneers celebrated the three seniors Danielle Trumbo, Kendall Drake and Payton Marvin.

Blazek signs with Cincinnati Bengals
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Senior Justin Blazek of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team signed as a free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. Blazek joins just a handful of Pioneers in history who have signed with a National Football League team.

Pioneers place third at Viking Invitational
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s golf team set a new 36-hole school record over the weekend with a total of 647 strokes at the Highland Springs Golf Course. Three Pioneers finished with personal-bests as UW-Platteville finished third of eight teams after rounds of 321 and 326 on Friday and Saturday.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – For the first time since 2017, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team (9-19, 5-11 WIAC) beat sixth-ranked UW-Whitewater (27-6, 17-3 WIAC) behind a score of 7-4 in game one of Wednesday’s doubleheader from Kendall Murray Field. The Warhawks took game two of the day by a score of 6-4.
