Pioneers kick off Day of Giving
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Athletic Department and its 16 teams join the UW-Platteville campus in kicking off the 9th annual Pioneers Day of Giving! The event officially starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday and runs through noon on Friday.

Pioneers Compete At North Region Championships Saturday
COLFAX, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville cross country teams competed at the NCAA North Region Championships on Saturday afternoon from the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax. The Pioneers men’s team took seventh place while the women came in 17th.

Cross Country Competes At WIAC Championships
PRESCOTT, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville cross country teams ran at the 2023 WIAC Cross Country Championships (presented by Culver’s) hosted by UW-River Falls on Saturday afternoon at the Prescott High School Course in Prescott, Wisconsin. The Pioneers men’s team placed fourth, while the women came in seventh.

COLFAX, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville cross country teams ran at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invite on Friday evening at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wisconsin. The course was a preview of the 2023 NCAA North Regional Championships, which will take place on November 11.

Cross Country Hosts Pioneer Gender Equity Invite
CUBA CITY, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville cross country teams hosted the annual Pioneer Gender Equity Invite on Saturday morning at the Cole Acres Golf Course in Cuba City, Wisconsin. The men’s team placed second with 49 points while the women took fourth with 104 points.

Schaefer To Join UW-Platteville Cross Country Staff
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Josh Schaefer has been named assistant coach of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville cross country teams, announced today by head cross country coach James Akita. Schaefer will also assist the Pioneers track and field programs as a distant coach.
