Samantha Birkicht Named Head Volleyball Coach
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville has announced that the volleyball program will now be led by former assistant coach Samantha Birkicht. She was announced to the team as the new head coach Friday morning.

Three Pioneers earn all-WIAC honors
Three UW-Platteville volleyball players earned A's for their performances during the 2016 season. Outside hitters Allison Jensen and Amber Williams earned honorable mention all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team honors, and Ashlee Moore was named to the sportsmanship team.

Pioneers finish 2016 season
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team finished its fall 2016 season this weekend falling to UW- La Crosse Eagles, ranked 13th in the country, on Friday in La Crosse and UW-Eau Claire, ranked 25th in the country, on Saturday in Eau Claire.
