Cross Country earns All-Academic Honors
The women's team along with two male individuals of the UW-Platteville Cross Country teams were acknowledged by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in the organization's 2015 NCAA Division III All-Academic Honors.

The women's team along with two male individuals of the UW-Platteville Cross Country teams were acknowledged by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in the organization's 2015 NCAA Division III All-Academic Honors.
The Pioneer Women's team was named All-Academic Team after earning a cumulative grade point average of 3.27 on a 4.0 scale. Teams needed to accomplish a cumulative GPA of 3.10 to qualify for the recognition. This is the second year in a row that the women's team has been recognized for achieving All-Academic Honors.
All-Academic Honors were also given to student-athletes that have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and were ranked in the top 25 of their respective regional. Two men from the UW-Platteville Cross Country teams earned All-Academic honors.
Freshman Zach Lee and Senior Jason Winchel earned Cross Country All-Academic honors for the first time. Winchel had earned All-Academic honors for Track and Field during the 2015 season. Lee finished 63rd at the NCAA Midwest Regional while Winchel earned All-Region honors with his 16th place finish.
