Pioneer women’s soccer earns Team Academic Award

PLATTEVILLE, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team was honored for their excellence in the classroom by the United Soccer Coaches Association. To earn the College Team Academic Award a program must post a 3.0 GPA or better. 

Director of Soccer Sam Koening's women's team was one of 382 women's teams honored. With the men's team also receiving the honor, the Pioneers were one of the 130 schools to have both the women and men's team honored. 

The Pioneer women had a team GPA of 3.55 for the 2021-22 academic year.
