UW-Platteville falls in overtime to UW-Oshkosh
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team suffered its third overtime WIAC defeat on Saturday night. UW-Oshkosh emerged with the 1-0 lead in the second overtime at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team suffered its third overtime WIAC defeat on Saturday night. UW-Oshkosh emerged with the 1-0 lead in the second overtime at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
The Pioneers (7-3-3, 0-3-1 WIAC) battled the Titans (11-2-1, 4-0 WIAC) for over 100 minutes of competition until a penalty kick found the back of the net and allowed UW-Oshkosh to remain undefeated in conference play.
Freshman Vanessa Peterson had a team high four shots while senior Amber Lueder owned the Pioneers' two shots on goal. The Titans tallied 17 shots with nine on goal.
Junior Emma Ball accumulated eight saves for UW-Platteville while Erin Toomey of UW-La Crosse had two.
The Pioneers will take Sunday off and return to Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium on Monday, October 18 for a 5 p.m. game against North Park.
