Dunlavy named WIAC Defensive Player of the Week
UW-Platteville’s Melissa Dunlavy was named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, by the league office on Tuesday.

MADISON, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Melissa Dunlavy was named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, by the league office on Tuesday.
Dunlavy anchored the Pioneer defense that only allowed one shot on goal in two games, last week. She led the Pioneers to a 1-0 shutout against UW-La Crosse on Oct. 9, and helped hold UW-River Falls scoreless in a 0-0 double overtime draw on Oct. 12.
Dunlavy and the Pioneers return to action on Wednesday night at 7 p.m., when they welcome Dubuque to Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
