The 197 pounder from Spencer, Wis. will graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in December. Grant Wedepohl and Jon Goetz, who each became 3x NCAA Qualifiers this season, are also making their third consecutive appearance on the All-Academic Team. Wedepohl, an Engineering Physics major, holds a 3.41 GPA overall. Goetz earned his spot on the All-Academic Team by putting together a 3.34 GPA overall as he work towards his degree in Environmental Engineering. "We preach to our team all the time about 'being a true student-athlete'," said head wrestling coach Mike DeRoehn. "Thankfully, we have a ton of guys on the roster who embody that slogan, and yet these three put themselves in elite company among the nations finest by getting it done on and off the mat."
