Pioneers end season at WIAC tournament
The UW-Platteville women’s golf team concluded its 2016 season Sunday, finishing fifth out of seven teams at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship held at Reedsburg Country Club.
REEDSBURG, Wis.—The UW-Platteville women's golf team concluded its 2016 season Sunday, finishing fifth out of seven teams at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship held at Reedsburg Country Club.
Senior Stephanie Baribeau was once again the best finisher for the Pioneers, improving her score each day (87-84-78) en route to finishing in a tie for seventh place individually. Junior Lexi Graf put together one of her best performances of the season, also besting her previous day's score all three days (95-91-86) on the way to a 28th place finish.
Larissa Schmock, Alysse Elko, and Lindsay Neitzel all contributed to the Pioneers' fifth-place finish in addition to Baribeau and Graf, and Lauren Frances competed as an individual.
