Platteville takes eighth at tough Stevens Point Invite
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s golf team finished in eighth place this past weekend at the UW-Stevens Point Mad Dawg Invitational held at Glacier Woods Golf Course in Iola, WI.
IOLA, Wis.—The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team finished in eighth place this past weekend at the UW-Stevens Point Mad Dawg Invitational held at Glacier Woods Golf Course in Iola, WI.
Senior Stephanie Baribeau was the leader for the Pioneers, shooting 84-85 over the two-day tournament and finishing in a tie for 13th place. Lindsay Neitzel, Alysse Elko, and Larissa Schmock were all very consistent for the Pioneers. On the second day, Neitzel, Elko, and Schmock all matched their individual score from the first day. Danielle Ducklow of Viterbo University once again took home first place honors, shooting 77-80 in the tournament.
The Pioneers will be back on the links Friday through Sunday, Oct. 7-9 for the WIAC conference tournament in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.
