Golf sits 3rd at Illinois College Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team is in third-place after Saturday's opening round of Illinois College Invitational, in Jacksonville, Ill.
Indiana Tech is the first round leader after posting a round of 314, +26, the Pioneers are 30 strokes back after recording a 344, +56. Individually, UW-Platteville is led by junior Katie Gregorich, who is tied for seventh after a round of 83 (+83). Newcomer Stephanie Baribeau made her Pioneer debut tied for ninth, just a stroke back for Gregorich with a 84. Sophomore Taylor Egnarski posted a 87 (+15) on her card, good for tied for 16th while freshman Sydney Kilcoin recorded a 90 (+18) to be tied for 23rd.
The Pioneers will wrap-up their weekend at the Illinois College Invitational on Sunday.
