Seniors Lieving and Welter lead the way at Augie Invite

Seniors Kelsey Lieving and Kellsey Welter finished second and third, respectively, at the Augie Invite at Emeis Golf Course on Saturday. The University of Wisconsin-Platteville golf team wrapped up its spring season, shooting a collective 349 to finish first in front of Monmouth (363) and host Augustana (366).

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Seniors Kelsey Lieving and Kellsey Welter finished second and third, respectively, at the Augie Invite at Emeis Golf Course on Saturday. The University of Wisconsin-Platteville golf team wrapped up its spring season, shooting a collective 349 to finish first in front of Monmouth (363) and host Augustana (366).

Lieving shot a 84 for second-place and Welter carded a 86. Freshmen Taylor Egnarski rounded out the Pioneers top-three with a roudn of 89, good for sixth-place; while sophomore Katie Gregorich tied for seventh with a round of 90.
