PLATTEVILLE — Sophomore center Allison Prestegaard recorded six blocks in Saturday afternoon's 91–71 Senior Day loss to visiting UW–Oshkosh to become UW–Platteville's single-season block record.
Prestegaard's six rejections versus the 14th-ranked Titans gives the Amboy, Ill. native 94 on the season, and eclipsing the previous record of 90 set by Pam Soman during the 1988–89 campaign. She is currently second in the nation in Division 3 at 4.3 blocks per game. Prestegaard also had 11 points and three rebounds in Saturday's loss as the Pioneers fell to 6–17 overall and 2–10 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
