Lovan Joins Track and Field Staff
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Lexus Lovan will join the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Track and Field staff as a full-time Assistant Coach.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Lexus Lovan will join the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Track and Field staff as a full-time Assistant Coach.
Lovan makes the move to UW-Platteville after serving as a Graduate Assistant Track and Field Coach at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. She coached multiple running events including sprints and relays while working with the Marauders. In addition, she managed social media and recruiting.
"From the moment of our first phone conversation to the on-campus interview, Lexus displayed a level of incite on life and track and field that wowed me," said Director of Track and Field Chris Rotzenberg. "Her athletes will have fantastic results as Lexus leads them on and off the competition area. Most importantly, the entire team will benefit from her track and field and life experiences."
The Urbandale, Iowa native was a two-time NCAA DII National Qualifier in the long jump. Lovan competed for Graceland University while earning a Bachelor's of Arts in Health and Movement Science. She then earned a Master's of Science and Kinesiology from the University of Mary.
