Men's 4x100-Meter Relay and Women's 4x400-Meter Relay Secure Spots in Saturday's Finals at NCAA Championships
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's 4x100-meter team of Aaron Hrubes, Casey Goffinet, Jordan Olp and Lynn Oyawiri broke their own school record with a time of 40.91. They posted the fifth-fastest qualifying mark to advance to Saturday's finals. The same four eclipsed their own previous best of 40.98. Saturday's finals will get underway at 3:30 as the team will look to repeat the All-American honors that they earned in 2011.
The Pioneers' women's 4x400-meter relay team of Jackie Cahill, Deidre Dillman, Carshella Porter and Ann Tank also punched their ticket for Saturday's finals with a time of 3:50.09. Saturday's finals will be the final event of the championship at 7:25 p.m. The Pioneers finished seventh in 2009 and in 2011 and sixth in 2010 as they look to earn All-American honors for a fourth-straight year.
