Pioneers Move Up National Performance List at UWL National Qualifer
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville sent a contingent of performers to the UWL National Qualifier on Thursday.
Junior Aaron Loferski improved on his season-best time in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.57 in the prelims en route to a third-place finish. The time of 14.57 moves the South Milwaukee native up to 11th on the national-performance list.
In the high jump, sophomore Ace McCarty and junior Andrew Kissner posted season-best performances. McCarty cleared a season-best height of 6-9 to move into the 12th spot on the national-performance list. Kissner recorded a NCAA provisional clearance of 6-6 3/4. Kissner will look to move up the national performance list on Friday at the UW-Oshkosh Final Qualifier.
The complete list of qualifiers for the 2012 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be announced on Sunday.
