Pioneers’ Plautz named CoSIDA Academic All-District
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Senior Rachel Plautz, of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball program, was recently named Academic All-District by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). UW-Platteville is in District 6, which includes Michigan and Minnesota. Plautz is a mechanical engineering major with a 3.80 grade-point average.

The D.C. Everest alumna hit .361 with four home runs, nine doubles and 27 runs scored. Plautz appeared in all 32 games behind the plate and led the league throwing out 14 would be base stealers.
Plautz is a four-time member of the WIAC athletic honor roll, UW-Platteville's Gabe Miller Academic Honor Roll, and a three-time All-WIAC selection.
