Pearson Named To NABC All-America First Team
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Senior Logan Pearson of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's basketball team was named to the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III All-America First Team it was announced on Wednesday.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Senior Logan Pearson of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's basketball team was named to the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III All-America First Team it was announced on Wednesday.
Pearson becomes the 11th player in program history to earn All-America honors and the first since Robert Duax in 2018 to earn NABC First Team.
After collecting District Player of the Year from the NABC yesterday, Pearson adds another award to his resume following a fantastic season that saw him average team-highs in points (23.1), rebounds (6.2), and assists (2.9) per game. The Kimberly native broke the UW-Platteville single season record for total points with 692 and was named WIAC Player of the Year and D3hoops.com Region Player of the Year. Pearson boasted an impressive shooting split of 48.4/41.1/85.5 and scored at least 30 points in a game four times, including a career-high 38 against UW-La Crosse on January 27.
