The Pioneers' Connor Foley was tabbed the First Team punter to go along with his First Team All-WIAC selection. The junior's 41.3 yards per punt led the WIAC and is the second highest single season average in school history. This is Foley's first All-Region selection.
Mark Johnson was named a Second Team wide receiver for his record setting season. Johnson totaled 93 receptions and 1218 receiving yards, both UW-Platteville single season highs. The junior had nine or more catches in seven of the Pioneers' 10 games, and recorded 150+ receiving yards four times. Johnson was also an All-WIAC Second Team member. This is his first All-Region honor.
Completing UW-Platteville's selections is Donnie Rydzewski, earning Third Team offense honors. The guard started all 10 games and anchored a Pioneers' offensive line that gave up only 19 sacks all season. A two-time All-WIAC selection, this is the senior's first All-Region selection.
A total of 77 players were chosen for the three All-West Region teams. Players were selected by West Region sports information directors and D3football.com staff from 259 nominees. All three Pioneers are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced Dec. 15.
