Kickoff is at 2 p.m.
The Pioneers are coming off a heartbreaking 30-24 loss at home against UW-Whitewater in the annual George Chryst Memorial Bowl, and the Warhawks handed the Pioneers their first loss of the season. The Pointers, meanwhile, notched their fourth win of the season to remain unbeaten, defeating the University of Eau Claire Blugolds 28-19.
About the Pioneers: Senior quarterback Tom Kelly and senior wide receiver Dan Arnold appeared to be on the same page all game long against UW-Whitewater, as the duo paired up for 10 completions for 184 yards, earning Arnold Offensive Player of the Game honors for UW-Platteville. Defensive Player of the Game honors for the Pioneers went to senior linebacker Colin Griffin, who made eight stops. The Pioneers held a 24-20 lead in the fourth quarter before the second-ranked Warhawks rallied for the win.
