Pioneers split vs. Yellowjackets

UW-Platteville will head into the regular season's final day playing for a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference post-season berth.
The visiting Pioneers split with UW-Superior, winning game one 5-2 and losing 6-1. UWP is now 10-12 in the WIAC, tied with UW-Oshkosh for the third spot. UW-Superior is a game behind at 9-13. The top three teams make the WIAC playoffs.
UW-Platteville, now 21-17 overall, and UW-Superior meet in another doubleheader Sunday, as do UW-Oshkosh and UW-La Crosse.
Due to a computer problem in Superior, statistics are not immediately available. They will be posted Sunday when they become available.
