Baseball Falls at Millsaps

For the second straight game the Pioneers took an early 1-0 in the second inning. Junior Ryan Duva earned a one-out walk and eventually scored on a Millsaps error.
The Majors gained the lead in the bottom of the third with two runs on two outs.
Millsaps broke the game open in the fourth with five runs and added four more in the fifth. The Majors scored another rin in the sixth and seventh making it a 13-1 ballgame.
The Pioneers used five pitchers in the tough night as sophomore Mike Boushley suffered the loss and threw 3.2 innings with seven runs, six hits and four walks.
Millsaps' West Hammonds earned the victory and held the Pioneers to two hits in five innings of work.
UW-Platteville's junior Zach Demmon, sophomore Evan Greco and Duva recorded the Pioneers only hits of the night.
The Pioneers will get another chance at the Majors on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m.
