UW-Platteville's Trevor Kattre Earns Weekly Recognition from WIAC
University of Wisconsin-Platteville senior infielder Trevor Kattre was named the WIAC Baseball Position Player of the Week on Tuesday for his efforts, last week. The Abbotsford native hit .500 in the Pioneers' six games during the week. He had 11 hits, including five doubles and two triples. He also scored nine runs and drove in 11 to lead UW-Platteville to a 4-2 mark. Kattre also had three sacrifice flies and swiped three bases on the week. In game one against UW-Whitewater on April 25, he went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and five RBIs. All three of his hits were for extra bases, including two doubles and a triple. In his other plate appearance, he was hit by a pitch. In game two of the doubleheader against UW-Oshkosh on April 28, he went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Kattre had a hit in all six games.
