Community Junior Spirit Award Recognizes PSAAC’s Service to Local Area
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneer Student Athlete Advisory Committee (PSAAC) will be honored and recognized for its service at the 58th Annual Celebration and Arthur Virtue Awards Night, presented by the Platteville Regional Chamber. PSAAC will be presented with the Community Junior Spirit Award for its dedication and service to the Platteville community.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneer Student Athlete Advisory Committee (PSAAC) will be honored and recognized for its service at the 58th Annual Celebration and Arthur Virtue Awards Night, presented by the Platteville Regional Chamber. PSAAC will be presented with the Community Junior Spirit Award for its dedication and service to the Platteville community.
PSAAC is an organization that represents the collective voice of 16 intercollegiate sport programs at UW-Platteville. Official membership is comprised of one sophomore, one junior, and one senior per team. In addition, PSAAC represents the voice of student-athletes at UW-Platteville as an official WIAC and NCAA governance group.
Representatives from each sport play a central role in mobilizing the key pillars of the Pioneer Leadership Institute including personal enhancement, community engagement, leadership development, career development and alumni engagement.
The 2021 award ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, May 12 in Katie's Garden on the Platteville Regional Chamber property with a rain venue of Broske Event Center at Legion Park for the same date. The event will begin at 5 p.m. with the awards presentation beginning at 5:30 p.m.
