LA CROSSE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team fell in overtime, 1-0, at UW-La Crosse on Wednesday.
UWL's Maddie Granos scored the match-winning goal at 98:18 off a rebound after a Kirsten Anderson shot.
The Eagles finished the game out shooting the Pioneers 24-7. The Pioneers goalkeepers Katie Rash and Mandy Taylor totaled a combine 15 saves.
UW-Platteville returns to action on Saturday, hosting UW-Oshkosh at 6 p.m. on Senior Night.
