    WHITEWATER, Wis. – The No. 19 ranked University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team fell 21-14 to the No. 3 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Saturday afternoon at Perkins Stadium in the 2019 edition of the George Chryst Memorial Bowl. The two nationally ranked teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 14 apiece, but the Warhawks’ 10-yard run and touchdown in the 11th minute proved to be the game winning touchdown.

    The #19 ranked University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team will travel to #3 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. in Perkins Stadium. Saturday’s competition is homecoming for the Warhawks and the annual George Chryst Memorial Bowl game.

    PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team defeated the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse 38-20 Saturday after a two- and half-hour lightning delay in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. The Pioneers scored 24 unanswered points in the second half to secure the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) opener.

In the end, a versatile offense, strength to convert on third down, and ability to capitalize in key situations secured the non-conference contest in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
