Pioneers meet No. 13 Titans on Saturday

The game: The University of Wisconsin-Platteville travels to No. 13 UW Oshkosh for a collision between the Pioneers and Titans at Titan Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The records: The Pioneers bring a 4-1 overall and 2-0 WIAC record into Saturday's game while UW Oshkosh is 3-2 and 1-1 in the WIAC after falling to No. 6 UW-Whitewater last weekend.
The coaches: Mike Emendorfer is UW-Platteville's all-time winningest coach, compiling a 101-96 record in his 20th season. Emendorfer reached the 100 win mark with the 20-6 triumph over UW-Stevens Point on Sept. 29. He has taken the Pioneers to their only two NCAA III playoff berths in school history, in 2013 and 2016. Emendorfer is the WIAC's active leader in victories. Pat Cerroni is in his 12th year at UW Oshkosh after leading the Titans to NCAA Division III postseason appearances in four of the past six seasons. The Titans fell in the National Championship game 43-40 in the 2017 season to National Champion Mount Union.
The Pioneers: UW-Platteville comes off a 52-27 victory over UW-River Falls on Homecoming weekend. With another blocked kick in last Saturday's game, the Pioneers continue to lead the nation in both blocked kicks (9) and blocked punts (4). The Pioneers also lead the WIAC in total offense averaging 469.4 yards per game, including leading passing offense with 286.8 yards per game and rushing 182.6 yards per game.
On offense, quarterback Colin Schuetz leads the WIAC in passing averaging 280.0 yards per game and is 102-181 in passing completions and attempts. Senior running back Sean Studer leads the WIAC with 70 carries and is averaging 110.2 yards per game after last rushing for 217 yards and five touchdowns against UW-River Falls. Senior receiver Mark Johnson leads with 30 receptions on the year and is averaging 100.4 yards per game.
On defense, Eric Siedenburg leads with 20 solos and 30 assists with Ben Mogilevsky owning 46 tackles along with a forced fumble and interception.
The Titans: UW Oshkosh hosts UW-Platteville after falling 20-0 to No. 6 UW-Whitewater last Saturday. The Titans started the 2018 season by going up against two NCAA Div. II programs and falling to Davenport University before topping Lincoln University of Missouri 48-14.
UW Oshkosh's defense sits in second behind UW-Whitewater in the WIAC in both rushing and passing defense. Last week, the Titans held the Warhawks to nine passing completions and had edges of 73-59 in offensive plays, 31:08 to 28:52 in time of possession and 13-12 in first downs.
UW Oshkosh's Kyle Radavich has completed 62-110 attempts while Mitch Gerhartz has 87 carries so far this season to average 59.8 yards per game.
On defense, Cole Yoder leads with 36 tackles, four interceptions, and four broken up passes. Derrick Jennings Jr. has 26 tackles this season with three interceptions.
