PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville spring sports teams continue conference competition this week, with baseball scheduled to play at home Wednesday. Both baseball and softball will be on the road this weekend, while track and field and women’s golf head to invites this Friday and Saturday.
ASBURY, Iowa – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s golf team teed off its spring portion of the schedule at Loras College’s Duhawk Spring Invitational at The Meadows golf course. The Pioneers placed fourth as a team while nine golfers in all competed at the Sunday-Monday event.
RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team shutout UW-River Falls by scores of 4-0 and 10-0 in the WIAC opener on Saturday afternoon. Junior Taylor Roughen tallied 10 strikeouts in the opener while sophomore Carlie Jo Brownlee added five strikeouts in the nightcap.
