Wrestling - Jon Goetz, Junior (West Bend, Wis./West Bend West), 174 pounds - Goetz went 4-0 at Augsburg College and was unscored upon as he earned his second straight NCAA Regional Championship at 174 lbs. With the victory, Goetz moved his individual season record to 25-1 and earned an automatic bid to the NCAA National Championships for the third straight season. |

Women's Track - Johanna Meister, Junior (Darlington, Wis.) - Meister placed in three events this past weekend at the WIAC Indoor Conference Championships. She started off Friday by placing sixth in the mile, and then came back Saturday to finish sixth in the 800 meter run. Finally, she helped the women's 4x400 team to a sixth place finish. |

Men's Track & Field - Rodrick McMiller, Freshman (Chicago, Ill./Perspectives Leadership Academy) - McMiller set and tied two UW-Platteville records last weekend at the WIAC Indoor Conference Championships. He won the long jump with a a school record mark of 23' 10.25", which is also fourth best in the nation. In the 200 meter dash he tied the top time in school history at 22.23 seconds. In Rodrick's third event of the weekend, he placed third in the 60 meter dash with a personal best time of 6.95 second, which is second all-time at UW-Platteville |

Men's Basketball - Robert Duax, Junior (Dubuque, Wis./Hempstead), Guard - Duax scored a team high 22 points in the Pioneers' WIAC tournament semi-final game against UW-River Falls. He shot 8-15 on the night for UW-Platteville, who is set to host it's first NCAA Tournament game since 1999. |
