PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's volleyball team fell to Clarke University Crusaders 19-25, 25-23, 20-25 and 20-25 on Friday in Dubuque, Iowa.
After losing the first game, the Pioneers powered back to take the second game. In the third and fourth games, the Pioneers went point-for-point with the 21-5 Crusaders, but couldn't hold on to grab the match win.
Sophomore Kelley Lynch and senior Lauren Grady played well for the Pioneers, who fell to 11-18. Lynch recorded ten kills in the loss, while Grady logged nine kills and three blocks.
Junior libero Lindsey Decker added 18 digs to her season total of 460, averaging 4.04 digs per set.
The Pioneers return to action on Friday, Oct. 30 at home against UW-La Crosse for Senior Night at Williams Fieldhouse at 7:00 p.m.
