Pioneers take third at MSOE Invite
MILWAUKEE, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team finished third at the 15th annual Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Invitational. At the 13-team invite, the Pioneers’ Lucius Rinehart claimed the 285-pounds title.

UW-Platteville had seven wrestlers place in the top-six of their respected weight classes.
Sophomore Rinehart (9-2) defeated North Central's Audel Ochoa in an 8-2 decision in the 285-pounds first-place match. Also finishing in the top two was freshman, Brandon Lucht at 157-pounds. Lucht (7-5) lost the championship match by technical fall to Elmhurst's Keone Derain.
Freshman Issac Wiegel (9-5) finished fourth at 125-pounds with a close third-place match against UW Oshkosh's AJ Schoenfuss that ended in a 2-0 decision favoring the Titan.
Sophomore Chase Katzenmeyer (9-6) finished fifth at 141-pounds with a medical forfeit win over Central's Tristan Clark. Also finishing fifth, at 174-pounds, was senior Grant Wedepohl (10-5) over Millikin's Austin Hedrick by medical forfeit.
Rounding out the top finishers for the Pioneers were senior Scott Arneson (5-3) and sophomore Beau Harrier (5-7) at 133-pounds. Arneson defeated Harrier in the fifth-place match by a 5-4 decision.

The Pioneers return to action and WIAC competition on Wednesday, Dec. 5 when they travel to UW-Stevens Point.
