Ferguson, Bohm, Cole prepare for nationals

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The Pioneers are sending three wrestlers to the ultimate destination in Hershey, PA for the 2015 NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championships.
Cole Ferguson (125 pounds), Mason Bohm (184) and Michael Cole (149) will hit the mats one last time this year on March 14 and 15 to compete against the nation's best Division III wrestlers.
Ferguson, a junior from Joliet, Ill., will be the only Pioneer returning to the national stage from last season, as he enters the competition with an overall record of 27-7. Ferguson finished second at the West Regional match at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn. and second at the WIAC Championships in Oshkosh after a double-overtime loss.
This will be Bohm's first appearance at the big dance as the junior from Shawano, Wis. enters his match with an overall record of 22-11. Bohm also took second at the regional match and fifth at conference.
Cole is entering the national competition only wrestling 25 times this season, with a record of 13-12. The sophomore Rock Island, Ill. native also finished second at the West Regional qualifying match and did not place at the WIAC Championship meet.
The matches are set to begin March 14 at 11 a.m.
