Baribeau’s WIAC finish second-best in school history
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s golf team placed fourth at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course in Nekoosa, Wis. over the weekend, completing the 2015 season.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team placed fourth at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course in Nekoosa, Wis. over the weekend, completing the 2015 season.
Junior Stephanie Baribeau beat her own school record for 54 holes, beating her previous record of 250 by two strokes. Baribeau's third place finish was also the second-best finish at the WIAC tournament in the history of UW-Platteville women's golf.
Sophomore Lindsey Neitzel finished 15th for the Pioneers, shooting her season low of 87 day one and ending with a total score of 269, while senior Taylor Egnarski finished close behind at 17th with a score of 270.
Freshman Hannah Baker and sophomore Lauren Frances finished with scores of 282 and 306, respectively.
