Des Moines, Iowa | Whitewater, Wis. – The Pioneer track and field team traveled to two different venues for this weekend’s competitions, Drake Relays and the Drake Alternative Meet hosted by UW-Whitewater. With one week until championships season begins, the UW-Platteville track and field team began making final preparations for the first of post-season meets, the WIAC Outdoor Championships.

Platteville, Wis. - Williams Fieldhouse came alive on day one of the 2022 WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The eight conference colleges met together to contest the indoor conference championship for the first time since the 2020 indoor season. The energy was almost tangible. Dubuque, Iowa - The UW-Platteville track and field team competed at the Sol Butler Classic hosted by the University of Dubuque on Friday, February 18. Student-athletes, coaches, and spectators took part in recognizing Black History Month. Several personal best marks and times were set, as were school records and a facility record.

Platteville, Wis. - The Pioneer track and field team hosted the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday, February 12. Among several other great performances, Williams Fieldhouse erupted in excitement when senior Bryce Bierman cleared 2.05m (6-8.75). Bierman ranks sixth in the national ranking with that clearance.
