Track and Field recognized for All-Academic Honors by USTFCCCA
The women?s team along with five individuals of the UW-Platteville Track and Field teams were acknowledged by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in the organization?s 2015 NCAA Division III All-Academic Honors.

The women's team along with five individuals of the UW-Platteville Track and Field teams were acknowledged by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in the organization's 2015 NCAA Division III All-Academic Honors.
The Pioneer Women's team was named All-Academic Team after earning a cumulative grade point average of 3.12 on a 4.0 scale. Teams needed to accomplish a cumulative GPA of 3.10 to qualify for the recognition. The women's team was last recognized in 2013 for achieving All-Academic Honors.
All-Academic Honors were also given to student-athletes that have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and were ranked in the top 35 individually or top 25 in a relay event at the completion of the season. Three men and two women from the UW-Platteville Track and Field teams earned All-Academic honors.
Ian LaMere earned All-Academic honors for the third consecutive year. LaMere won the 10,000 meters while earning All-American honors in both the indoor and outdoor 5,000m.
Mitch Dowell and Jason Winchel earned All-Academic honor for the first time. Dowell was a member of the national qualifying 4x100 meter relay. Winchel finished the outdoor season ranked 21st in the 10,000 meter run.
Alyssa Iserman and Emily Kjos earned All-Academic honors for the second consecutive year. Iserman was a national qualifier both indoors and outdoors in the high jump. Kjos was a national qualifier in the Javelin. During the 2015 season, Kjos became the first athlete in WIAC history to become a three time conference champion in the javelin.
