WARTBURG, Iowa – After 110 minutes of play, no winner could be determined as the UW-Platteville Pioneers finished in a 0-0 tie with Wartburg College Tuesday night at Wartburg.
The #18 Pioneers now move to 11-1-3 overall while Wartburg now sits 9-6-2.
Overall, Wartburg held the advantage with 14 shots over the Pioneers' 10 while UW-Platteville had the opportunity with seven corner kicks to the Knights' one. Nate Miller recorded six saves in the contest as did Wartburg's Gunnar Lenzen.
Brad Strobel led the Pioneers attempts with three shots followed by David Regan's two shots on the evening.
The Pioneers return to action for their last scheduled home game of the year on Saturday, Oct. 27 when they host North Central on Senior Day. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
